Welcome to Pilates on George. These terms and conditions are designed to help the studio run smoothly and to ensure a clear and consistent experience for all clients.
Initial consultation
All new studio clients are required to attend an initial consultation, even if you have practised Pilates elsewhere before.
This session allows us to understand your movement history, goals, injuries, concerns and any other factors that may influence your program.
Initial consultations must be prepaid to confirm your booking.
Bookings and payments
All sessions are pre-booked and pre-paid.
Bookings are managed through the Momence app. If you have any issues accessing the system, please contact us at info@pilatesongeorge.com.
By providing your payment details, you authorise Pilates on George to charge your nominated payment method for booked services and any applicable late cancellation fees.
Cancellations and rescheduling
We ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session time will incur a late cancellation fee equal to the cost of the booked session.
If you are using a package, the session will be deducted from your pack. If you are booked as a casual client, the applicable casual rate will be charged.
There are no exceptions to the cancellation policy. We understand that life happens, however as a small business we have to endure the cost of running a session and unable to fill the spot at the short notice.
Illness and attendance
If you are unwell, or caring for someone who is unwell, please do not attend the studio.
Where appropriate, we may be able to offer your session via Zoom so you can continue your practice remotely.
Studio etiquette
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily.
To protect the studio equipment, we ask that clients do not wear clothing with back zippers or sharp hardware.
Non-slip socks must be worn in the studio. If needed, socks are available for purchase.
Student teachers
Pilates on George supports the development of future instructors. You will notice student observing your session, helping out and making notes. We are keeping the highest standards and our students are always professional and discreet. There is maximum one student assisting an instructor, so it doesn’t feel overwhelming for you.
From time to time they may be involved in teaching you couple of exercises (always under supervision of the instructor).
If you prefer not to be observed – please let us know!
Packages and expiry
Regular attendance is an important part of progress, so expiry periods apply to all prepaid session packs.
Three-session packs expire 3 weeks from the date of first use.
Five-session packs expire 6 weeks from the date of first use.
Ten-session packs expire 12 weeks from the date of first use.
Twenty-session packs expire 14 weeks from the date of first use.
Please consider these timeframes when choosing your package, particularly if you are planning travel or an extended break.
Packages may be shared among family members unless otherwise stated.
Refunds
There are no refunds on prepaid session packs or services once purchased.
