We are proud to continue bringing movement into your every day, despite our studio being temporarily closed. At Pilates On George, quality Pilates teaching is our passion and we are determined to continue servicing our loyal clients as best as we can. For those of you who aren’t able to join us by live stream on Zoom, we are now offering pre-recorded classes for you to enjoy at your own time and pace.
Our Pilates classes are made with you in mind. We know the cues that you are used to hearing and the style of teaching that you are accustomed to. We are also happy to bring you back into our light-filled Sydney studio somehow! Our videos focus on different parts of the body to help you build the session you want. Combine different class lengths and focuses to help you move the way you want to move.
We’re adding more videos as often as we can so that you can keep your exercise routine fresh. Please let us know how we can give you what you want. You want it, we’ll film it!
We know it is important for you to move with good form. Small changes in your alignment can take an exercise from okay to highly effective. We have included some short tutorials to help you move well despite us not being in the room with you. Our classes require very minimal (or no) props to ensure that our classes are accessible to everyone. Some of our classes available so far are:
- Understanding how to build neck strength to avoid strain in abdominal exercises
- Muscle releases using a simple tennis ball
- Releasing upper back tension using a towel
- A simple routine using a stool or chair
- Theraband classes
We hope that while you’re working from home, home schooling or generally trying to carve some time out in your day, we’ll be there for you. No matter how we deliver our classes to you, our focus remains steady and in line with Mr Pilates:
