Joyce’s appreciation of the enormous rehabilitative benefits of Pilates’ whole body health philosophy led her to attaining her instructor certifications with Polestar Pilates. While the leap from a corporate lifestlye was substantial, Joyce’s passion for teaching has seen her establish herself with loyal client base. Her clear and calm teaching style and gentle encouragement sees her clients achieve movement they thought had been lost for good.
Joyce is passionate about using Pilates to improve her clients’ quality of life and achieving their fitness goals. Joyce has a special interest in helping clients support their sporting pursuits while working through puzzling bio-mechanical issues.

Joanne Langdon
Jo discovered Pilates while living in the UK after wanting to try something other than swimming and walking. She was hooked after her first session and never looked back.
She loved how much it challenged her strength, flexibility and coordination and she was always encouraging her friends and family to try Pilates, assuring them that they would fall in love with it too.
After moving back to Sydney, Jo decided that she wanted to study for her Diploma in Professional Pilates Instruction so that she would be able to learn more about the subject and to be able to teach it herself. What she loves most about Pilates is that it is for everyone, no matter your age or fitness level, whether you are in rehabilitation, need to work on a specific area or want a whole body workout. Everybody can feel the benefits.
Jo is very excited to be in the studio and is looking forward to meeting her clients and helping them to walk out feeling energised and fulfilled. Work out with Jo L on Monday afternoons and Friday mornings.
